Security-Net welcomes fast-growing New England-based company CGL Technologies as newest member

EXTON, Penn. – January 18, 2022 – Security-Net, Inc., a network of leading security system integrators, announced that CGL Technologies will join their membership under the leadership of newly appointed Principal, Christopher Wetzel.

The addition of CGL Technologies marks the fourth new member company for Security-Net within the past month, bringing its total number of member companies to 19.

CGL Technologies is a security systems integrator based out of Westwood, Mass., recognized for providing integrated security solutions to many large facilities in greater New England, including universities, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies which require state-of-the-art security measures.

Wetzel was a longtime member of Security-Net but left the membership organization 18 months ago. He had been active in Security-Net for fifteen years and chaired the product committee, Sales-Net committee and been a member of the Executive Committee.

“I feel fortunate to be a part of Security-Net and I believe that I have gained an understanding of the value Security-Net brings to the marketplace with the manufacturers, distributors, and customers, but most importantly to the Security-Net members themselves,” said Wetzel. His goal is to leverage this insight as CGL Technologies moves forward and grows in the Western Pennsylvania and Tri-state area, utilizing best practices and experiences acquired during his 35 years in the business.

A fast-growing company, CGL Technologies has set its sights on expanding its footprint. CGL specializes in the design, delivery and service of electronic access control, IP video, intercom, and intrusion detection systems that cater to commercial and large residential markets.

“Our growing membership represents exciting strides for our organization and CGL is an excellent addition as a company with an impressive track record and an industry leader in security integration,” said John Krumme, a member Security-Net and chairman and chief executive officer of Cam-Dex Security Corp.

Wetzel looks forward to collaborating with other Security-Net members on managed services offerings to better utilize cloud technology and developments in artificial intelligence and enabling integrators to successfully confront the growing Do-It-Yourself movement in security.
